SO I have a ABS light on my car, ran the code and got code 1 meaning ABS motor over run.

Don't know exactly what this entails, thus the lack of knowledge by many people, and this forum as well about ABS system in general, however any prior knowledge of someone that has come across this problem b4 would greatly be appreciated. What I understand is that the pressure fails to accumulate thus the motor is still running trying to accumulate the pressure activating the code/light.

Narrowed it down to two possibilities: 1, being the simplest, air in system would need to bleed system making pressure stabilized, or 2, motor is fucked, and replacement will relieve ABS light.

Worse comes to worse, I'll just replace the whole module/pump, but if anyone has actually came across this, and solved it...please explain.

Search google for "hondahookup manuals". The Helm manual is your best friend here. More than likely one of the valves in the modulator isn't closing. Does you ABS motor run continuously until the ABS light illuminates when you start the car?

 

I'm not sure if it's running continously, but when i start the car sometimes, the abs light doenst turn on untill i start to drive it will pop up again and stay on....

mine is similar. when i start the car, the abs light will be on. other times its off. anyone help?
