Everyplace I go, they try to rape me for the paint. Currently I own an Audi S4 and they want to charge me $70/quart for paint and I think that is insane. Am i being rational or?. Can anyone help me out. I need to repsray my girls bumper and I didn't check on the price of her paint, which is a toyota. and respray a whole honda accord that champaigne color. Thanks Alot!

are you doing base coat clear coat or single stage..? Single stage for me was a whole lot more expensive.

 

im doing the whole primer/base/clear, but under $200 sounds cheap as hell? how much of each do you think is needed to spray an entire exterior... ive heard with mixing the base coat if it is 1:1 you can get away with 2 quarts... i assume i need a gallon of primer and clear coat...

did you order your paint supplies online? i looked on google... some came up pretty good, but some were ridiculously overpriced for some supplies..

Im using a gallon to spray my civic 4dr. You dont want to go too thin. Check out http://www.paintscratch.com. If you don't buy from there, maybe it will get you an idea if you are getting "raped" or not. Peace.
