Default Heat rising from floorboard?

I have a 96 integra with a B20

I have a Greddy header and apexi World Sport2 exhaust...

I notice i have a lot of heat by my feet and legs, also my shifter area and below it is really warm..

I took off the heatshield from the cat so it would stop rattling and also took off and the heatshield above the cat that attaches to the body... But before i did the swap i never noticed the heat with my old engine...

Do you have the rubber boot that attaches from the shift linkage to the chassis? I had the same prob and found that mine was missing. Installed one and inside car temps dropped considerably.

I wouldn't worry unless things start burning!!! I have a swap and a custom exhaust and have the same issue.

That COULD be it cause i just slapped the linkage back in without much thought.. Anyone got a pic of the location of it? Where exactly is it?

Oh and i dont think its the heat shields cause its never done this before...
