Decided to give my LS/vtec valvecover a new look for the new build.....here she is
So I've been buildin a Del Sol...build link is in my sig....anyway I wanted to do something different with the valve cover. I love all these threads about valve cover contests and sh*t. I looked through them all and just wanted something cool for my car.
So I scoured my mind, came up with a few ideas...more of which I'll probably do. For now though I wanted to keep it simple, because I have alot of other work to get done.
A shitty pic here...but this is what my build was lookin like. Not very motivational
So first to go was all the lettering and logo...I like the smoothed look.
Then I decided to lay on about seven layers of Hemi Orange, followed by some numbers I'm sure your familiar with. I got a General Lee pic in photoshop, then cropped the door, then specified the dimensions. I then cut the numbers out and laid them on the valve cover.....and wow...I likey!
Just gotta tape it up and use the numbers as a template for masking....I love it!!

Yeah...once I paint the numbers on I'll take close pics. Those are the templates laid on the valve cover. They are pics blown up from the original General Lee though... 
I'm all about accuracy myself brother...lol.

reminds me of the Dukes, which reminds me of Daisy, which reminds me of really short shorts, which in short brings a nice grin to my face along with some deviant memories.....so
