Default Integra Restoration and Project (Past, Present, Future)

Just thought that I'd share some pics from my on-going Integra project.

I first picked it up as an R-Title because of this damage...

It started as white and while getting it fixed up at the local bodyshop, I had the color changed to Vogue Silver Metallic since I really liked the silver and a few friends also complimented the color on the Integra shell.

Here are just a few photos of it. I really wanted to do something a bit different, so I had the hood, roof, and trunk painted a rich black to just break up the silver.

I also had a friend paint up the valve cover for me and added cam gears to it. I pulled the bottom end apart in order to put PR3 pistons so that I could bump the compression up. At first I was intending to push the project to a normally aspirated engine; and I had purchased Brian Crower Stage 3 cams to put in. Purchased a Megan Racing exhaust and a cheap header which I actually did install (I never installed the cams, which currently are for sale).

And here is how the car sat a week ago or so. At this point, I had changed my mind about doing an all motor setup and had seriously been looking into a turbo build. So this is why the cams are for sale.

And then this happened...

... my grandfather backed into the quarter panel as it was parked in the driveway. So I'm back to square one with fixing the body. haha. And it's going back in tomorrow to be fixed.

Again, just thought I'd share for anyone interested. Hope you enjoyed. I'll keep it updated.

Indeed. I told him to make that ITR lip silver. The shaved moldings should look good as well.
