i know already that the lx makes 125hp and the ex 140hp, but what is internally different between the two. My friend is doing the swap into his lx and wants to know
if the ex will respond better to bolt on's and etc.

f22a6 has the following that the f22a1 doesnt:

better exhaust piping
dual runner intake manifold (which i have for sale)
4-2-1 Exhaust manifold and downpipe
more agressive cam for top end
more agressive fuel curvers and maps on ECU
sm0ke weed everyday

 

Is that manifold any good for an F22B1?

 

i honestly dont know. youd have to line up and match some gaskets to see. i *believe* not completely sure that the H23 intake manifold fits your car

I may just extrudehone it, but a two stage is cooler

 

Can be cooler for midrange, but Honda's top motors (ITR, CTR, ATR) all go with the single for the best top end.

i think the ecu's are the same because i remember looking for the 94 ecu and came across the 93 one which said it was for the lx,se,ex...i don't remember which site this was on...but i'll look again!

my buddy added them at seperate times to his motor and he said top end ripped with the cam and said his car was running richer with the f22a6 ECU

 

also a tid bit for you 5th genners....i read somewhere that this guy made an H23 intake manifold fit the f22b and said it was the best mod he ever did. said he guestimated 25 horses gain
