The clear coat on my 5-spokes lifted and the wheels corroded underneath. I had them polished (mirror finish/chrome look) and they look OK but I'm thinking about painting.
I know a lot of people of done it ... wouldnt mind seeing pics of the results.
Preferably 5 spoke GSR rims on a red G3 teg ... but any combinations will do for the benefit of others also.

Did you not paint the whole wheel or something? And it looks like you didn't mask off the tires.

 

The tires were dismounted when I painted the rims, in the pic, the rims look bronze because the sun was shining on them around dusk, if you look at the front rims, that's what they normally look like. I just like this pic because it makes my rims look burgundy.
