quick spray paint question
alright, i was doing my gsr valve cover yesterday in the red krinkle paint.
And the paint wouldnt spray even, it was like spitting out dots of paint and stuff. Like instead of a even nice light spray, it would do a even spray and spit out the dots every 2 seconds.
why did it do that and how can i make it not?
Thanks.

Yes, make sure you've thoroughly shaken it, and the can is warm. Also make sure that the nozzle is clear, and that your finger isn't accidentally obstructing it slightly (in which case droplets can form and cause the spray to begin splattering).

buy some Montana paint...but you gotta make sure you shake well. There is an article in this months issue of Honda Tuning for a DIY Valve Cover painting. Just thought it might help.
alright, thanks. Yeah i finished the cover and it looks pretty close to oem. I followed the Type r valve cover in the Cosmetic forum. But there is just a little more krinkle in some places (where the drops were). Other than that it looks oem. Im very pleased.
