Default ***HELP! Timing Belt, Cam gears, Crank pulley won't line up! Searched!***

Ok I have a B18a1 and my throttle lagged really bad, and I read about what to do on this thread> https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1760603

So I took the valve cover off, put the motor to TDC by turning the Crank pulley to the white mark, then loosen the timing belt adjuster, then put and allen wrench in exhaust cam hole (it was the cam that was on the right point), Slipped the belt off of the cam gears, and turned me Intake cam back on the right time, had difficultys putting the belt back on the cam gears (but i got it on anywayz), I the turned the crank pulley a little bit to make the belt tighter (Chiltons manual said so) because it was really loose, and of course I can't get the crank pulley on the white mark (TDC) or else the belt can't slip over my cam gears.

I am so lost right now and I need help on what I should do to get the motor on TDC and have the belt slip over my cam gears and not be so loose.

Any help is greatly appreciated

I'm having trouble understanding exactly what difficulty you're experiencing. Once you have everything lined up properly, you can then rotate the crank pulley counter-clockwise slightly to add tension to the belt (making sure that the belt does not jump any teeth on the cam sprockets) and then tighten the tensioner bolt.

Just double-check after everything is tightened to make sure it is still properly aligned, and turn the motor over by hand a few times before starting it up.
