Default BOUGHT AN SI!...NEED HELP

Just bought a 2000 si with 67K for only $7700. It's got I/H/E, and a racing clutch, and $400 worth of of minor body work. Where should i get the body work done at?

This should be in paint/body section or maybe appearance. Since your a noob just letting you know before the hater wagon comes and tells you.

Call around to local shops. Go look at some of there work and see if its up to your standards.

Most are going to be about the same.

Ask a mechanic shop who they recommend for body work.

LOL, ugliest kit EVAR.

For some reason people think their Em1's are worth their weight in gold.

That's the one reason I don't like them. Though EBP and gold advans probably makes for the sickest civic I've ever seen.

Good buy man. I just bought my '99 Si FBP with 99k miles for $4650. Needs new front and rear bumpers, but other than that the outside is clean. LOL not to mention that it started to over heat 3 days after I got it home (cracked head). Put a new b16 in it with 33k miles. Now im at $8100, but only 33k miles :0

A local forum or section would better be able to recommend a local shop to you. Call around for pricing though.

It was a car that was sold at a auction that i bought from the dealer. It was in the auction because the bank had repossesed it. The body damage doesn't exceed over $400- it's just minor dent and sratches.

But $7700 for a Civic Si with only 67,000 miles isn't bad at all, especially since it sounds like it's in decent condition.

They might be targetted more often than lower trims of Civics, but they're not likely stolen more often. Any Civic is worth stealing, especially if it looks like it's taken care of (more likely to have decent parts and possible mods) and an EX, LX, or Si. Those trims are more likley to have little things that others might be interested in.

Get GPS tracking before anything else.

They are, at >2600lbs with a crazy-powerful 1.6L motor, 15" alloy rims, a gigantic 13mm rear sway bar, and single-piston solid rear disc brakes... they are the best civic evAr made (in the USA)! And considering that Si parts are the most desirable upgrades for civics with a strict budget... Wait I should re-write that all, I almost sound like I'm bashing the EM1.
