i have a turbo gsr and im problems with my knock sensor sending me into limp mode. what should i do. i have heard not to just disable it because that can cause more problems down the road. i run 93 octane and the ignition timing is set conservatively at 14 degrees

if i stay in vacuum until 5000 then i can floor it and go. but if i floor it before then it will go into limp mode. weird...
I disable it most of the time. My buddies car used to do that same ****, on **** load of the compression, 100 octane and conservative timing. So I just disabled it and the tune turned out fine.
ive never run a knock sensor. ive got over 40k miles of turbo over the past few years with only 1 motor casualty due to a huge boost spike
