Default Video Review: Greddy Ti-C

Well since no one has done this so far with a prelude (i searched the web for HOURS trying to find any clips of this exhaust on a lude) I decided to go for it and order one. My impression: freakin' awesome! Sure it can get loud but it is in no way obnoxious for daily driving. I'll let the video speak for itself. If anyone has questions feel free to ask.

From the Greddy site:

GReddy Racing Ti-C Cat-back Exhausts combine the design, looks and flow of our Full Racing Titanium systems with the durability, deep sound, value and large application list of our other Stainless Steel street systems. This fusion of aggressive styling and practical construction, makes this the logical choice for both Race and Street Enthusiasts. It improves high and mid-range performance while still allowing for suitable sound levels when used with the included tuned Tri-mounted Silencer*. *(Most applications below 92db, with all under 94db). The large list of applications include 80mm piping for Turbo applications and 50-60-70-80mm for Normally Aspirated vehicles. Made completely in Japan.

I have been wondering how that sounds, very nice!
Also, IMO all exhaust clips should be like that.

Sounds too raspy for my taste. I guess little work was done on the resonator part. Nice video, a little disappointed on the Drive-by sounds. Fair overall. Would NOT spend retail $$$ for it.

yeah sorry about that lol, the first one I started out way too far back lol and the other one I let off because of the jogger. I took out the silencer just to rev a bit after i installed it and DANG is it loud! Maybe I'll post some more vids w/ silencer (redo the driveby) and then some without it (its DEFINITELY not street legal without the silencer lol, its so friggin loud but its pretty much all motor without it, not really raspy)

BTW, the resonator is almost nothing lol, its just bigger piping by like 5mm lol which im guessing accounts for a bit of the raspyness.

It is kinda raspy at low RPMs when you first start off and it quiets down a bit after it warms up as well though the vid was taken at full operating temp.

cool post man

now all we need is some vid/sound clips of other companies exhaust systems forming somewhat of a compilation to help with picking which exhaust we would all like our cars to sound of.

Not bad, I'd like to see a vid with the silencer out to see how loud it is. Also some idle clips and shots of the exhaust on the car.

Indeed - pictures of how it looks on the car would be nice - you can see it for a second on the second drive by. I've been thinking about this exhaust too so it's nice to see an exhaust clip as thorough as this one. Good work.

NO SILENCER FTW!

Nice!

Also, is that smoke coming from your the exhaust bad? My car does that especially at idle...

Nice, I like the sound and angle. I'm gonna have to pick one of this up and get rid of my N1.

taking out the silencer gives it a MUCH nicer sound but wow, its almost unbearably loud when driving around. The sound pressure is crazy, it feels like you're at the bottom of the deep end in the local pool lol. There is a sweet spot however at like 1/16 throttle where it gives it no extra gas, just enough to maintain speed and its near silent. its kinda weird lol

My friend and I just installed a Ti-C on his '97 sh 2 days ago. it sounds really nice, sounds nothing like it does on the 350z. ( wonder why..) we kept the silencer in and we were both suprised at how loud it still was. we were a little worried about ground clearance because my friend's got eibach pro kit springs. but i think it was alright. i havent heard from him yet though haha

overall very impressed
