Are the pistons in a 93 vtec D16z6 the same size and everyting as the pistons in a 98 vtec D16y8? please let me know. I have a bad piston in my D16z6 and I have a friend who will give me a set of pistons from his D16y8 but I need to know if they would even fit before I took the whole thing apart.Thanks-Josh

 

drops right in......you'll loose a tiny bit of compression, but will never be able to tell it.
