Check out my c/f hood, is this fixable???
I found an article on a website, I believe it may have been Jdmcivic.com, on how to refinish carbon fiber hoods. It consisted of sanding all of the clear coat off, and then reclearing it. I was just wondering if by looking at these pictures, if it would be possible to do this? I really don't want to have to buy another hood,(this one came with the hatch). Thanks!

the article you read was correct. You can step sand it up to about 1200 grit, then re-clear it. Other options are whats been suggested

Sand the hood with 600grit on areas that are peeling already, the rest... 1000 grit will do.
After 600 on areas that are peeling, bring it up with 1000 grit or higher to even it out, and add 2 or 3 coats of clear on it. After that, wet sand with 1500 to remove imperfections and orange peel, and bring it up with 3000 grit for a mirror finish, and buff the hood.

I should definitely do this with a palm sander right, because I attempted this awhile ago with a sanding block, because I was afraid I would ruin the carbon fiber, and it was horrible. I killed my hands, and the results weren't even noticeable? So if I use this method, use the palm sander, and don't wet sand until after I reclear it? Thanks alot man!
