Default JDM Soshinoya Placement

Does anyone know or have pictures of the correct placement for those JDM "new driver" Soshinoyas? I see everyone sells them but i've never seen them on peoples rides other than the JDM As F#CK ones.

For future reference.

Soshinoya package, the magnetic should be placed on the left hand side (your USDM driver's side) bottom corner of the hood, pointing towards the headlight, aligned with the hoodline. The suction cup should be in the left hand top corner of the rear hatchglass. The badges should be higher than 0.4meters from the ground, and no higher than 1.2meters from the ground. This is the authentic, legal presentation of the Soshinoyas.

why would you get those badges? I lived in Japan once and my host-sister who just came out of the driving school had to put the green one up so everyone one knows she's a new driver and take it easy on her.

Same thing on the orange one only old people put those up so others know you are really old and let you go first. Those orange one doesn't mean you are experience driver, it just means you are old, and everyone should watch out.

I don't know why people put those up in the states, I mean unless you don't know what it really means, it's kind of stupid to put them up and have all the Japanese people living over here laugh at you if you know what I mean.

Just so you know my host-sister couldn't wait to take them off, but either legally she's not allowed to do it that fast, or her parents (my host-parents) would let her take it off.

As for the orange one, I don't know what to tell those people who put them on. It's like parking at a disable spot, and then came out of your car with no disability to me.

I don't know if most of the people putting those up fully understand what it means in Japan, I just don't want everyone to look foolish just because they don't really know what it means in Japan. Kind of like Japanese people wearing T-Shirts that has stupid English slogan on them, and they don't know what it means, so I laugh at them when I was in Japan. lol

I'm not here to flame just thought people should know what it means. I saw couple cars out here with them on, and I laughed at it. If you know what it means, then more power to ya

i think new driver elder driver badges are gay as expletive. why would you want to advertise that here in the states. i understand its coming from japan...

otherwise...i see it as an "inexpensive mod" that people buy to jump on the jdm bandwagon.

I wonder when USDM is going to catch on in Japan and they are going to be a bunch of kids with those giant "Student Driver" signs on their cars...

Yeah those JDM badges went out of style about the same time as spinning hubcaps did.

If you were that smart you would have posted it in the appearance forum since it has nothing to do with any tech of a 06+ Civic.

I agree that the flaming is getting ridiculous.

But JDM stickers on a USDM car is equally ridiculous.

Your right, it was once a "Honda and Acura Technical Resource". Now it's turning into Club Si with all the new stupid appearance posts in the wrong place. Nobody cares about your new damn wheels, stickers, spoiler, whatever. Take that **** where it belongs so people don't have to weed through that crap to find actual info.
