Today I just installed my new AEM SRI and my Greddy Ti-C (its awesome and ill post vids asap) on my 5th gen. Everything went smoothly, it runs fine but there's one thing im curious about. I was taking it out for a test run and from 6k+ rpms it sounds like I have a turbo, no joke. I by no means have a problem with it, it sounds sick lol , but im guessing its because something is disrupting the airflow. I had an SRI on my GSR and it just whistled a bit, nothing like this. I can get a vid/sound clip if needed.

 

i think thats your intake... i have an injen CAI and it does the same thing in VTEC, kind of nice if u release the clutch quick and the car leaps at the same time

i figured that much but never heard it that loud before, its ridiculous lol

 

the sound went away when i removed the silencer in my exhaust so now im even more confused lol
