Default does all dc headers fit the same d16

puttin in headers as we speak but i cant seem to get them to fix, i bought them used from a buddy and he says that it dont matter with the engine that its all the same.. but heads are differnt from what i understand.. so im just wandering if it should fit?? it fitted in his eg. that has a z6 but i got a y8 in my 2000 ex.. and so yah.. ne one please???

yes it will fit, put my DC header from my z6 on my buddies y8 with a cracked manifold

yes,

the difference is likely the carb number only.

yes, all 92-00 headers are interchangable to the best of my knowledge. Only differences are that a select few have the catalytic converter on the header itself. As far as i know, they are the D16y7 (the odd bastard child of honda motors) and the D15b8.

well i cant seem to get it to go in. like.. its weird, the bolt patternt on the damn bracket are differnt from the two headers, and liek i cant get it to go onto the head.. its raining so i stopped trying but i donno.
