The AEM V2 CAI is the best on the market currently, but it's way overpriced. Like others have said, a pipe with a good filter works. I bought a cheap eBay short ram intake, tossed the filter it came with, and used a K&N. Works great!

i wouldn't go that far. depends on what you want but i would be hesitant to say "best" on anything having to do with cars.

You don't need to spend 200$ on an intake. The variance in horsepower comes mostly down to the filter. K&N top of the line, and as far as piping goes, go big and even up the diameter to 4" either at filter or after TB. SRI for low end power, CAI for upper end, power!
Remove resonator like the above said. Its dead weight and restricts even more air.
With CAI or SRI its needless to say obsolete.
