I just called the Honda deallership by me and asked if they could order me a stripped down fit (thinking of making an H4 car) they said no way. Anyone no a dealership that will do this?

 

From what I recall in my past dealings with Honda (including buying the Fit), Honda doesn't do custom-order cars like Jeep does. So it's really not the dealership, it's the manufacturer.

 

Canada has 3 versions of the Fit. DX,LX and Sport. The DX does not have A/C and some other options but considering the exchange rate it's not worth it for you to buy it from Canada and drive it back. All you can do is buy the base US Fit and strip it down yourself... it's the only way.

 

Just buy a base model and strip it.

 

Maybe I could make some of my money back selling the parts. They did say you can order it speacial if there was a DX model. What I need is to find one with a salvage title.

Yeah, DX model Civics can be had with no radio, no speakers, no a/c and stuff like that. I don't see it happening in a Fit.

For those with a base Fit, you guys have power windows and locks right?
