Default B16a2 questions....

I have a 1996 Del sol, and iI'm curious of 3 things...

1. How many gallons of gasoline does my car hold? is it 11 or 12? Just curious for my MPG.

2. How many quarts of oil does my engine take? Isn't it 4? I just did a change and I'm a just below the lower dot on my dipstick after putting four quarts in.

3. I think I need to do a radiator flush, it smells like someone peed in the reservoir tank to the left of the radiator. Its so gross, besides its a little low.

thanks

1. How many gallons of gasoline does my car hold? is it 11 or 12? Just curious for my MPG. Search on google for "1996 del sol specs". You'll find your answer. To save you the time, it's 11.9 gallons

2. How many quarts of oil does my engine take? Isn't it 4? I just did a change and I'm a just below the lower dot on my dipstick after putting four quarts in.Search on google for "1996 del sol specs". You'll find your answer. however, you should just fill your del sol up with ~3.5 quarts and then check the dip-stick after filling it up a bit more. Just keep checking til the dipstick levels are in the normal range.

3. I think I need to do a radiator flush, it smells like someone peed in the reservoir tank to the left of the radiator. Its so gross, besides its a little low. You should completely drain and replace with new coolant every 24 months. Use distilled water from your grocery store (buy a gallon, it's less than a buck) to flush out the coolant after it's all drained.

thanks </TD></TR></TABLE>

I work at honda, and I believe that b series motors, minus the GSR, take 4.2 quarts to hit right at the full dot. the gsr has a bit bigger oil pan due to the girdle, but I'm sure most people on here know that
