Default 1988 CRX Si

I'm planning on purchasing a 1988 CRX Si. I had around 200k miles on body and 60k miles on the jdm d15b v-tec motor. The person is asking 1300. Is this a good deal? Or should I try and lower it? Sorry, I've never really bought a used car before.

yeah its a pretty good price im guessing the paint looks faded or the car is primer, because a decent shape rex could for like 1000 with some crappy paint and then the vtec motor from a shop is 400 but, hey it doesnt hurt to talk them down in the price some people will take what they can get.

Hows the interior?

Body and engine can be fixed, but what I really look at is the frame and interior

Cant really fix interior since CRX parts are getting so expensive.

Just IMO.

i'd jump on it for that price , the interior deff needs some TLC and looks like the exhaust has been riced up....so some int parts , new exhaust and tails....some susp. work and wheels down the road and you'll wind up with a nice rex out of the deal. I'd look that bitvh over good for rust though.....

To swap a D15B VTEC into my car it was just a little bit cheaper than that... I'd go for it looking at the pics...

Nice find man. I bet you have no problem finding a riceboy to trade his stock headlight and tailights for your extra super bad jdm riceboy ones. Thats what I did with my last EF. Went cruzing downtown and found some riceboy who was more than willing to give up his stock shizz. Jump on dat price.
