title says it i need a release bearing for my zc i checked the b16a first gen an '04 civic 1.7 bearing looked the same so i put it on and its giving me problems i heard that a 91 civic si would work and be the same? is this truee help me out!!

What kind of car is this in? The DOHC ZC is equivalent to the D16A8 and D16A9 from 1988 and 1989 USDM Integras. Those would use a cable shift D series trans, though. What transaxle are you using?

 

you need a PL3 throwout bearing, 88-81 CIVIC

 

**Transmission quirks**
88 Transmissions are the only ones that are 21 splined
That means you must use a 88 ONLY clutch kit.
89-91 Transmissions are all 20 spline.
