I have a 99 Civic LX and I just recently got into an accident. My front end is ruined from the bumper to the radiator and Im not sure about my catalyctic converter, but im hoping its fine. Well I was wondering if anyone would have any suggestions for a front end conversion that would work out well. Since I have to replace the whole front end I might as well make it different. Im hoping not to spend to much, well at least not as much if I had to go to a collision repair center.

 

No real conversions that i know of. you could go with a JDM look front end, with the yellow fogs and all. I dont know how bad the damage is, but you will prob have to get a new radiator support, and along with that you go with a new cooling plate from passwordjdm.com. and maybe even get a cf hood. best thing to do is just go to a junk yard and get some used parts.

 

i've seen ppl do silvia front ends and even integra front ends. my choice stay with the civic front.

 

If anything, I would just swap out the bumper for an SI one. And why are you worried about your cat?

Many people are fond of the Acura EL front end, mainly because it's not something commonly seen in the US. Since the EL is essentially a Civic under the skin, the "conversion" is not particularly difficult.
