TYPE R THROTTLE BODY REPLACEMENT
I have a bad tps sensor and i found out that the tps sensor is irreplacable.
Im wondering if EDELBROCK throttle body would be a good replacement.
Its $300 for the edelbrock and about $600 for the oem type r tb.
Anyone here have experienced the edelbrock tb before? is there another
fitment besides the edelbrock with the tps attached?..like other b-series
tb?

Before he asks:
To remove the rivets from the TPS, simply dremel/file a slit into the rivet end, turning it into a flat head screw (As the rivets, aren't really rivets, they're screws with rivited ends), now just screw them out, and replace them with 10mm screws. Set proper voltage, and voila.

does the q45 tb bolt right on? what mods do you have to make? 80mm is huge! are there any adverse effects with running something that large?
