hey wats going on i have a apexi ws2 exaust 1 month old but i dont want it anymore due to my build i have a 99 ej8 coupe and im looking for a 2"1/2 or 3" inch exuast system for my car and i was wondering wat u guys have in mind i know theres many out there i have $500 to spend on a new one im looking for something not to loud that its gona get me pulled ova every second but something good for my price and performance wateva u guys have in mind please do so and post thanx ... im also selling my ws2 exaust for $400 so i ma have the cash for a new exaust thanx alot.

Stick with 2.5 on an all motor build. You need nothing bigger.

im thinking of going with the smsp exaust system 2 1/2 tubeing resonator and muffler...... thas about my price range any other thoughts by anyone ??

 

smsp alone is gonna run you double your budget but i got the kteller piping kit = $200-250 shipped, virbrant muffler = $100

are you in a state that has emissions? if you're not i wouldn't even worry about the cat coverter. i don't run one here in iowa

i never looked into resonators cuz i didn't plan to run one on my car but i figure its just for getting a different tone from the exhaust.

 

smsp is gona cost me about $500 i called already and spoke to someone for tubing,resonator, and muffler ... and shipping

no bolt on as far as it being welded i have someone that can do that for me so thas not a problem i have a ws2 and i dont like it i need 2 1/2

I have stainless 2.5" on my hatch. Sounds nice, no cat and 2 resonators. Not sure on the brand, I think the PO said Tsudo maybe?

anyone useing buddy club spec2 exaust system?... or maybe ill go with 2 1/2 piping and a magnaflow muffler and maybe put a resonator to silence it a lil....

 

i had a spec 2 on my car which was gsr motor, hytech header, test pipe and spec 2 and it was extremely loud. i still drove it everyday but sometimes it was hard to keep it quiet. if your looking for something to be quiet i wouldnt recoment a spec 2.

 

I would reccomend a coustom resonator, and piping to a WS 3inch muffler. That thing would be hella quiet and still make power cause its free flowing still although chambered at 3 inch! This is waht we plan for my buddies RSX.

Bith ny sons are using BC spec 2 and love the system. It's abit loud without the
baffle though. Not very expensive either!
