Default z6 trans in 00 ex question
can i just unbolt the y8 trans and put in a z6 trans and everything will bolt and plug right back in? or do i have to rewire anything? thanks

1 bolt won't line on the dust shield, but the lower brace will hold it in place just fine.

y8 and z6 trannys are both compatible without a problem at all. The only issue is the dust sheild, which has 3 bolts to begin with.
