well on thurs this thur i belive my tank was at half way so i went to getty put 20 something and the fuel. guage read to full then staring driving and went down a little where the f symbol is well dumass me went to velareo sorry forgot to spell it. and put the same octane which was 87 and put seven .at pump the gun stop at the 5$ but i wanted to put in 7$ in total so i kept going . the problem is that well **** does'nt want to go down what can i do help. thanks to all accord owners

alright cause i know you know look diffrent story mess that up here goes this week's tuesday i went to the gas station and filled her up so tab is on f exactly. now i went then to valero put extra 7 bucks. the gas gun stoped at 5 but i kept going to 7 dumb me. now tab kind of does'nt want to go down well went down to f should keep driving for 3 more days i only drove from college and back from that tuesday and the college is only 5 miles away it 97 accord dx 4 cylinder.

 

umm, do you mean the needle on the fuel gauge isn't going down past F? If thats the case its not a big deal, you just have a really full tank of gas. When i fill it up high the needle wont go past F for about 50miles.

 

now when i drive it's on f umm i went to gas copartment and open vlave to release air which i heard umm if anything it hold 17 gal and i only went a gal or two no more over i mean gas wasn't leakin out of their when i was poring it. well ill see tommrow cause i hardly put miles on it what so ever it it goes down below f i'm happy.

Umm....if it only holds 17, the other gallon or two would have to go somewhere (not in the tank), don't you think? Most likely on the ground.

From what I understand, he filled up, filled up again, and his gas gauge is way above full and not going down. What you can do? Floor it every time you start moving. That will eat up a lot of the gas and make the needle go down a bit.
