drivers side motor mount issues
ok so i bought some ES motor mount inserts and was in the process of putting them in when i realized my driver motor mount was destroyed...so i call up a local parts store who carries em and i get it, and compare the two and they're pretty close side by side.
So i begin to install the new mount and i run into fitment issues. Apparently the 2 holes that bolt the mount to the bracket on the block are 3/4 of a hole off, of course i can shift the motor around to get it close but its still not enough.
i tried both ways of bolting the 2 bolts of the mount on first and trying to persuade the long bolt and vice versa by either manually having someone move the whole engine over for me or trying to adjust it with the jack to line up but i can't get it.
did i get the wrong motor mount or something? or do i have to unbolt one of the front or rear mounts to get it to shift enough to line up?

Maybe the mount from the parts store was mis-boxed? I'd just call them up, see if they have another one and explain that the one you have doesn't have the right bolt hole orientation. They will probably swap it out without any issues.
What does the mount say on it? Is it one of the front ones? If so, it should say LF or RF on it (ie. left front or right front)... make sure you have the right one first

are you talking about the upper driver side mount? with my prothane mount inserts i had to press the original rubber out of the mount and replace it with the prothane. what exactly was 'destroyed' on your original mount?
