brake booster install
How hard is it to install a brake booster for a 95 Integra GSR? Can it be done in the garage or should it be left to a professional? If it can be done at home, does anyone have any write ups on how to do it? Thanks.
Try something like this:
1.Use a syringe and suck all the brake fluid out of the reservoir. Brake fluids are bad on paints!
2. Unbolt the two 12mm hard lines on the master cylinder
3. Disconnect the m/c rod from the brake pedal
4. Unbolt the four nuts securing the booster.
5.reinstall in reverse order.

Ofcourse, you should always make it a good habbit of bleeding them whenever you do any kind of brake work to your car, keeps the fluid clean and uncontaminated. Otherwise try to change in atleast every other year.

you should take a look at a maintenance manual from clinton or anything similar.
The instruction all sound easy, but you'll need a flex wrench to get all 4 bolts out from under the dash. You'll need to buy a hairpin for your brake pedal. You can't reuse the old one. You'll also need a open end wrench to losen the brake line from the m/c. You will definitely need to bleed the brake after the install, so you'll need a friend or one of those self bleeder (which normally don't work so well).
If you know what you are doing, it is only a 1.5 hour job.. but it took me almost 4 hours when I did it the first time because I did not have all the tools needed and it is a big hassle taking the 4 bolts out from under the dash.
