blox flat valves + 2 layer HG on an otherwise stock 99-00 B16A2, what compression ratio?
i have a stock 99-00 b16a2 longblock sitting and im thinking of doing a very mild build on it, just blox type a cams, springs, retainers, valves
if i leave the bottom end stock, stock pistons and what not, putting a 2layer hg and flat valves, what compression ratio am i looking at? i know stock is 10.4, they say valves are good for .1-.2, that puts me in at 10.6 at most, then the 2 layer hg
other than that, i'm probably gonna run a blox intake mani, bigger throttle body, race header and 2.5" exhaust all the way back, no cat
i have a transmission i can get easily from my friend, it was a gsr tranny, but torn apart, has ATS 1-5 gears, quaife lsd, and ats 4.9 fd
i think paired with an almost stock b16 with slight upgrades, i should have a lot of fun on the road course
the whole idea on my build is reliability without bumping too much compression and start losing driveability
also, what size throttle body should i be looking for? 70mm too big for what i want to build?
