ok, i have been doing some research on this topic but i am hoping somebody can give me some definative answers because i am not 100% sure on the setup. here is the deal.
i have a 95 ls chassis which i am planning on dropping a 98 gsr motor into. i have complete 98 donor car so i have the obd2a engine harness, ecu, and any other parts i may require. i also have an obd1 ls engine harness that came with the 95 chassis. i am planning on buying a chipped obd1 ecu from phearable.net because i will be installing a single stage intake manifold on the gsr engine and i dont want to deal with the secondary o2 sensor etc...
so what do i need to do to make this all work? if i use the obd1 ls cabin harness i know i will have to run wires from the obd2 engine harness to the ecu for vtec, knock sensor, and evap purge. but will all the other wires and plugs match up between the obd2a engine harness and the obd1 cabin harness? or should i just use the obd2a cabin harness and then use an obd2a-->obd1 jumper for the ecu?
basically i am confused about the obd1 cabin harness compatibility with the obd2a engine harness.. please clear up my confusion.
thanks

right on man. thanks for the feedback. i actually just stumbled upon the answer here:
http://www.ff-squad.com/techne...2.htm
this provided the answers to all my questions.
it is all just plug and play, all i got to do is run the vtec, knock, and evap wires.
i just psyched myself out and made it too complicated.
