so i am wondering what is the best way to run the shiftlinkage when swapping an H22 into an EG? All i here is go threw the fire wall.... But is there a better way?? So that i do not have to go through the fire wall.

Also is it possible to maybe adapt an rsx shifter box with the karcept kit to make the linkage run under the car via the tunnel??

You can't use a shift linkage on a cable engaged transmission.

You'll need to get an h2b kit and run a b-series hydro tranny to get a b-series linkage to bolt up.

Your just making it sound more confusing, the H22 runs on shift cables, yes they run through the firewall and that is the best way to do it. It really isnt difficuly, you can search the archive forums to find a write up.

Look in the faq index at the top of the forum.

There are 3-4 threads full of nothing but h22 swap info.
