Boosted CR-V Questions
I've never looked at a CR-V drivetrain and I have a couple questions. First, is the CR-V's (97-01) 4wd system strong enough to handle boost, maybe in the 220-250whp range? Second, since I'm guessing you can't use a different B series tranny and retain the 4wd, is it possible to swap out the gears to get better ratios?
Also, does the CR-V tranny/transfer case bolt up to any other B series blocks? Is there anything you can do to beef up the rear differential?

I've seen some guys take an Integra and use the dif and some other CR-v parts and made it into RWD. They keep the motor N/A and were using it in drifting events. I don't know what parts are needed for what you are doing but I think it would be fun if it works out. good luck.
Not really sure why people that actually try these awd swaps actually use the complete crv drivetrain. Why not just use an irs out of an rx7. Those crv drivetrains aren't really the toughest.
