d16y8 Crank Question?
Whats up H-T. Just span a bearing and the crank looks shot
. I need the car on the road soon.
I have d16y8 Block, from common sense i would say y7 crank would be the same but i'm not sure. If anyone was on this road before or know what crank i can use please help?
Thanks Vick

z6 crank has chamfered oil holes on the crank journal, supposedly its for better lubrication purposes, check out my FS thread for pics of a z6 crank

its probably not recommended to use a z6 crank in a y8 along with a y8 oil pump.
the d16y motors are notorious for spun bearings..........now will the z6 oil pump work in a y8 block???? that i do not know....
