Should i take it or wait for something better i have $4200 to spend. at first i wanted something around 100K but since this is one owner it may have been taken care of better and it wasn't tossed around by everyone

 

seems pretty good.. Go take a lot at it.

Only question, why hasnt it passed emissions for so long? no emissions up there?
i wouldnt worry about the extra 30,000 miles, that engine can last a looot longer.

 

Go see the car and talk him down a little bit. I did the same thing! Got mine a lot cheaper. I bought it from a mechanic friend who had his wife drive it for the past 5 years since he put the new engine in it. Had a couple dings and some bondo, faded paint, a little dirty interior and I walked away with a great car for 225k Chassis, 80K B18B with Papers for only 2 grand. Amazingly the only thing that needed were things I was going to replace anyways. New struts with eibach springs. Powerslot rotor with hawkpads. Timing belt was done about 5k ago.

 

Go see the car. You should probably find something wrong, and haggle him about him.

 

Lowball him and talk up from there.

 

i dont know why carfax has no inspections listed for a while but the car has stickers that are still good

 

thats an RS with power windows? i thaught rs came with manual? or am i confusing generations here.

i wish id carfaxed my teg before i got it...
