auto 5th gen = time bomb
manual 5th gen = possibly outlive you.

redline vs. 2700econo-shift./ lag in SS

having a car ur mom probably cant drive vs. ur mom running errands on it.

babe magnet vs. dude magnet

I'm not telling u the manuals are BETTER, but sportshift sucks.

now with all that being said, auto does have its advantages, its easier to learn in and easier to park steep hills.

In the Computer Lab during summer school after freshman year?!?!
Thats a question asked by someone who has never driven a car.....
Well-earned
You decide though: Stock Auto 5th gen runs 16's and a Stock Manual 5th gen is more than a second faster.......

I like flaming n00bs.....I love FLAMING n00bs with screen-names that involve slang like KILLA or IZZLE.
What ever happened to that JDIZZLE! punk.....I think I scared him off! Either that or changed screen name to avoid constant flaming!

Lets hope he's the type of person who gives into peer pressure and/or listens to all the five speed suggestions.

Sometimes I love my auto, sometimes I dont. Its not really a time bomb. My 5th gen has 165k miles on the original motor and tranny, and I drive it hard. Get whatever is convenient to you. I'm in the process of selling my auto to probably get a 5spd one, but I'm gonna miss being lazy with the auto.

^ Thats what I thought .. until one day the light went green, I pushed in the gas and the car didnt move lol. Save yourself the thousands of dollars now and just go with a 5speed.

My auto is VERY convenient especially since I don't have a cup holder, but it gets really boring. I plan to swap it for the 5 speed pretty soon. I just feel much safer with a more reliable manual. I hate watching it shift at around 6400 when I know it can do so much more :'(

just look at this fact, how many people go from auto to 5spd vs. how many go from 5spd to auto. i think the ratio is like 1000000:0 if im not mistaken

I can rape any 5spd Prelude in my automatic any day! Auto all the way!

Of course I'm only joking. I wouldn't drive anything but a 5spd. It's faster, more reliable, looks cooler, and gets better gas mileage. What can beat that?
