f22b dohc ??? worried
i have 96 lx 5speed, and i want to drop f22b dohc. im picking up parts lil by lil so when i pick up the engine i can have one day to replace everything needed to be done.
Now i have already paid for an h23 ecu OBD2a m/t is it a bad idea to run this ecu?
Like i have to stay obd2a for i can pass my emissions.
Is it better to run my stock ecu cuz its f22b2 or the h23 ecu because its DOHC?

on the 96 prelude si it did, thats why when others planning on doin a swap w/ h22 they get the ecu from 96 because that's when vtec came out in usdm.
Especially when your laws are strict like in cali and nevada that you need to keep your original ecu and cant go any older.

jdm f22b dont have knock sensor, other just tap the block but if i run the p39 i still wont pass, because its obd1.
Now the p14 theirs obd2a and i can pass emission cuz of computer and the knock sensor theirs a way to bypass
