I'm interested in adding a second cigarette lighter socket right next to the original one in my '04 Civic. Is this possible, and if so, how could it be done?

Sorry for the noob question, but I don't know jack about cars.

 

easier just going to autozone or pepboys and buying a 3 plug one and just mount it on the side

 

Considered that; don't think it'll look as nice.

 

buy the extra cigarette lighter port from honda, then splice/solder the two together. make a hole wherever you want the 2nd one mounted.

 

thats a good idea i think im gonna relocate mines by the arm rest
