88-89 front bumper cover on 90-91 civic...
i have a 90, and i replaced the bumper cover with
the 88-89 style, but now i cant get it all aligned properly,
it fits, but it doesnt fit 'neatly', has this been done successfully
before, or am i out of luck?

On my old 89 crx i put a 91 front bumper on it and it fit without any problems. However, when i put the 91 front bumper on i also used the bumper support from the 91 since mine needed to be replaced due to the accident. Hope this helps!

to use the 88-89 bumper. you'll need to replace the re-bar (the thing behind the bumper), and the two brackets where it mounts to. with the ones off the 88-89 car.
this also works from a crx to a hatch.
