Default Drag Radial Size Help Please

I posted this up in the Wheels and Tires section but got no where so ill try here.

I am running 15x7 rims. Wondering which size Drag Radials to use. 205/50/15? This is for dragging. Also, wondering if it would make a difference with bigger D/A's in the front?

Thanks.

BFG 225/50/15 on some very old rotas, dont see any reason to go with 205s if its just drag racing, bigger better?

just use regular tires on the rear, no need for the radial on the back. you want as little resistance as possible out back.

So a all season tire would be better?

So a all season tire would be better? I have Falken all seasons on my rims right now. Just buy front D/R then?

205 vs 225

how much HP are you making?

Under 210hp go with a 205 anymore go with a 225.

also the 225 will give you a taller gear ratio. so don't have to go to 5th for some cars.

drag radials in the rear for a fwd car is useless.

they are a stickier compound thats why people use them on the drive tire fwd or rwd.

hope that helps
