Im almost done gathering the parts needed for my h23 head swap. I was wondering if i can use my f22b2 distributer with twh h23 head. And if i had to use the h23 distributer, would it be and internal coil distributer or an internal? Also what would i have to do to convert it?

i'm 90% sure that the H23's were all internal coil. You could use either dizzy, but I would just stick with whatever came with the car. That way you dont have to wire anything up, and you know it will work.

Yeah, my 95 H23 is an external coil.

 

What block is the head going on?

h23a1 dizzy is external coil.

90-91 Accord= Internal coil
92-93 Accord=ext. coil
94-97 Accord(F22b2)=ext.coil

 

so, it would appear that I am wrong about the internal coil on most preludes. I suppose thats why pencils have erasers, and Forums have the Edit button
