Not talking down on you RSX guys but this guy at my work swears up and down that his car beats GT and Cobra mustangs, SS camaros, Preludes, WRX's you name it he's claimed to have beaten it on the freeway. Now I already know that this guy is a complete idiot and that his car would easily whoop my stock civic, but I'm just curious what time you stock non-type S RSX owners are running.

a good driver could do 14.8 stock, average driver could do low 15's, and a shitty driver would run mid 15's and up.

 

He said non-type S owners, so a good driver will get Mid 15s, but most will run high 15s, low 16s.

 

Well if it is a base RSX (non type S) the avegrage times are 16.0-16.5. Those were the times I saw at the tracks over here in Arizona. I do not know if it was due to shitty drivers or poor tires but those were the times that the base RSX pulled that night. The lowest time was a 16.04 from a black base RSX. And with that he was amazed that he got that.

Now for the RSX type S those times are a little bit better. Those times go from 14.6-15.3. The lowest I saw was a 14.6 from a white RSX type S. But on average the RSX type S times are 14.8-14.9.

So when your co-worker said he beats mustang gt's, camaro ss's,z28's,and wrx's is full of ****. I would recomend that your work do random drug test and find out what he is on. As for preludes its a different thing. For the base RSX I doubt it. The prelude would take the base RSX hands down. As for the RSX type S, it would beat the prelude hands down no competition. RSX type S pulls the prelude from 2nd on.

So my opinion is that your co-worker is a retard who needs to be beaten till he see's the light . Its RSX owners like that, that gives the rest of us RSX owners a bad name. Just because he got a new car he thinks he can conquer the world and any car on the road because it is new..Trust me he has probably got his *** kicked so many times from each one of these cars it is probably not even funny any more. I hate cocky owners who think like that. Have your co-worker race one of these cars in front of you to prove his points. Well good luck.

Thats this guys an %&$*ing arrogant *** and I wish someone would beat him down sometimes cus all he talks about is all the cars hes beaten on the freeway and now its all about his "JDM" muffler.......I think its an ultraflow with piping.

Anyways..I knew he was full of ****...I should run him cus I've run 16.1's with just I/H/E in my ex coupe on a 100 degree day......maybe I could shut him up for a little bit.
