The Turbo By Garrett Sport FWD Vegas Jackpot
Think you have what it takes to beat Vegas? The competition is going to be hot and heavy when the NHRA Sport Compact Series rolls into the Silver State for its first west coast event. The nation's biggest names in front-wheel-drive drag racing will be on-hand to tear up The Strip and set the desert night on fire with the roar of insane engines and the smell of burning rubber
Garrett Turbochargers understands the sacrifices that are made to race. A contingency sponsor for many years now, Garrett Turbochargers is stepping up the prize for the Las Vegas date and offering:
The Winner of the NHRA Sport Compact's Sport FWD Class on July 14, 2007 in Las Vegas, NV will receive a prize of $500 from Garrett Turbochargers.
The Runner-up in the NHRA Sport Compact's Sport FWD Class on July 14, 2007 in Las Vegas, NV will receive a bounty of $250.
The driver with the quickest reaction time (R/T), confirmed by his or her time slip, will be awarded a brand new, Garrett GT4294R dual ball-bearing turbocharger
The driver must meet the following qualifications in order to be eligible for the prizes.
The driver and car must be competing ONLY in the Sport FWD Class for this event and meet all eligibility and regulatory requirements stated in the NHRA Sport Compact Rulebook.
The vehicle must have an 18" Turbo By Garrett decal on both sides in a highly visible location. Decals will be provided by Garrett Turbochargers in either black or white colors. The decals must remain in place throughout the event of July 13 and July 14. A Garrett representative will be at the Clutchmasters/Team K-Series trailer to hand out decals to anyone wanting to participate.
The driver may not be disqualified for any reason during the course of the event.
That's it! You don't have to even have a Garrett turbocharger, just run the qualifying decals and you are eligible for the awards!
Checks will be mailed out after the race, but the GT4294R could be picked up directly after the final round of Professional Eliminations. Bring your time slip with the lowest reaction time (excluding red lights, of course) to the Clutchmasters/Team K-Series trailer after the final round of Professional Eliminations where a Garrett representative will objectively determine the driver with the best R/T.
You will have 30 minutes after the final round to show us proof of your best light. You MUST bring proof of your time, hearsay will not be admissible. You must be present to win.

thats sick!! figures....all the cool stuff happens at the races i can't make it to
to garrett for this one. this really goes to show SPORT FWD is THE class.sure would be nice if there was more sponsorship opportunities though!

Wow nice to see a company steping up to the plate. Just wish we would have something like this out at one of the east coast events.

I wish you guys had that for Pomona last year, when I got my perfect light. 
I could use a GT4294R for my new set up.

Seriously i will not hold it against anyone trying to win this turbocharger and redlighting trying against me, especially in the finals.
