valve cover color

Default valve cover color

im painting my valve cover this weekend and want it the factory honda red. does anybody know what color exactly i should use to get it? thanks in advance

VHT Red Wrinkle Finish will closely match the OEM red Honda valve covers.

Just print a picture of the valve cover, then take it with you to the store and spray some paint on that paper. That's what my ghetto self does.

Very similar! The sohc cover I did for a friend was a very close match to my brothers type-r vc.

it was nolt $.99 for the can too

I actually drove it around like this for a long time till everyone started saying "that manifold looks like ****" over and over.. Then one day I pulled it out of my shed and decided to paint it and install it again. What's also weird is that I bought both exact engine high temp paints but just in different colors. One came out smooth and the other came out a perect small wrinkle cut but no where on the can did it say wrinkle cut.. Hey.. it worked out.

haha i can vouge for the .99$ cent a can Krylon Wrinkle Red Paint... Check out my DIY, thats what i used an so far i still have a nice wrinkle finish...

now THAT I loooove! What color and stuff was that? This weekend I'm about to rip off my cover and do what you have right there... or we could just trade valve covers Do something about that heat sheild

hmmm, on ur timing cover it says ZFR5J-11 but on my d15b it says ZFR6J-11... hmmm kindad weird...
