Decisions, Decisions (Fit Color)
So after much waiting, i've finally decided to "upgrade": I sold my Civic Wagon (for a good amount too), and am now looking at various subcompacts to replace it. Up until this week, I was pretty much set on a Yaris Liftback, just because it seems to be more widely availible. However, I have since contacted some dealerships that have Honda Fits (Base, manual) in stock.
So now the only question remaining is what color to get. I am very opposed to white, and black also seems impractical. This leaves me with Milano Red (too much attention, but looks sharp), Lunar Mist (a little effeminate, tan interior is so-so looking), Storm Silver Metallic (also looks good IMO, but it's yet another silver/grey car on the road), and Vivid Blue Pearl (looks nice, but I wish it were darker). I know it's weird to be asking a forum what color car I should buy, but I'd like to see some high res pics of some shiny Fits to help make up my mind. I also made a poll, but I'm more interested in photos. TIA

I had to go with Silver, over the Blue because the black interior and silver paint and chrome wheels are a tight combination, add dark tinted glass and silver is over the top. Also the blue is dark and very hot inside when parked in the sun, also not very good on resale.
The darker silver is better than those light shades on most vehicles, doesn't show the dirt and seems very classy and expensive. I say go with Silver and you won't regret it.

My family has pretty much agreed on VBP, but if we can get a good deal on a SSM, we'll probably get it. I still want to see Lunar Mist up close and see the interior, I'm still a little skeptical about the beige seats. Thanks for you help guys, and the VBP Fit above looks great.
Where's the option for the orange? after Taffy White that is by far the best looking color, but hard to come by from what the guys at Honda said.
edit: hmmm, that color's not listed on honda's website.... '06 only?

The Base models aren't availible in the BOM color. Anybody have the beige interior and care to take some pics? Thanks.

Those pics would be pointless. Black is the only color for the Fit interior in my eyes. Anything looks weird and easy to dirty.

That's what I'm thinkin. Well looks like we decided: a dealer in NJ has a VBP on the lot, so we're heading on over on Saturday *fingers crossed*

Ok, so we bought a Fit!
Willis Honda had about 10 on the lot, al different models and transmissions.
We ended up getting the SSM 5spd Base, and we couldn't be happier.
BTW, we paid MSRP minus some free wheel lock. I argued that no one would steal steel wheels, and the salesman was too lazy to take them off, so he just gave me the stock lug nuts and the key for the locks. I also got some mudguards.
