repairing forged REgamasters
anyone know if forged wheels can be repaired?
I found a guy selling some regamaster evo's and he says they've had cracks welded up...
I was under the impression that forged wheels cant be welded, my bro even had to order a brand new rim from japan when he damaged a racing hart rim.
this guy says they were fixed by a company that works with special metals.. titanium and alloys etc..

I'm not sure but I'd be cautions about something like that. This shop may be good at fixing metals but a wheel is a different item all together. I'm sure a lot of the things they fix don't have to endure the abuse of street pot holes at varying speeds on a daily basis. I'd maybe try to look away at the good price which I'm sure they are going for and either get something else or save up a bit more if you are dead set on regas right now. And I'm not just saying that because I'm selling some ;p
