Crazy thought on factory alarm + aftermarket..
As any Fit owner knows the factory alarm system is part of the keyfob..
I want to add an aftermarket alarm w/ remote start to my Fit..
Has anyone thought of doing something where the factory keyfob will activate the aftermarket alarm? Something like dismantleing the aftermarket alarm fob and using the factory arm/disarm output to provide arm/disarm directly to the aftermarket fob and mount the aftermarket keyfob under the dash.. Something like using a small fast acting relay instead of the button on the aftermarket fob so that when you press the arm button on your factory keyfob it will "press" the arm button on the aftermarket fob thats under the dash..
What about moving the key and transponder into another case that doesnt have the arm/disarm on it and using the aftermarket alarm fob?
It would be too easy but has anyone seen an aftermarket alarm that have an arm/disarm wires on it?

Check that web addy. That's Vipers OEM alarm, uses factory key fob's. It doesn't have remote start built in, but I'm sure you can find an add-on module to start it up.
