Computer Blinking Issue?????
Guys I have a problem that I'm not sure where to go to correct.
I have a 90 Civic sedan with that 1.5 in it. I was headed up the mountain here in Western North Carolina and the check engine light came on. I turned it off and restarted it and it went out. Same thing happened again on another trip up the mountain. I looked at the led on the computer and it is blinking one blink at a time. This chart I have says one blick is an oxygen content issue. Any suggestions on what I need to check or replace to correct this problem? The O2 sensor if that is that thinng that screws into the exhaust manifold is fairly new. Thanks guys.

Code 1 is the oxygen sensor. Make sure that its plugged in and there are no shorts in the circuit (consider running through the O2 checklist if you have the Haynes manual). Did you get new headers? OBD 0 oxygen sensors do not like being placed more than a foot away from the head.
Thanks for the ideas. No header. It is just the stocker 1.5 that has about enough power to barely get out if its own way. It's really weird that the check engine light only has come on twice and gone out as soon as I turn the engine off and restart. And both times it was while under a pretty good load climbing the mountain. I'll make sure it is plugged in good and see if the wire laid against the exhaust or something.
