Default Brake setups?

I have a 00 EM1. I was wondering if anyone knew of any nicer brakes I can get. I dont want to change my current suspension setup so I know the Spoon Calipers are out of reach. Anyone make any nice calipers that still allow me to use 16" wheels?

before you splurge on new calipers have you tried running better pads, rotors, stainless lines and good brake fluid? im running hawk hps, brembo blanks, russell lines and some decent fluid and my braking is pretty damn good, doesn't even fade, im testing it out at the next auto-x this week.

i agree...your brake setup is pretty well off unless your a hardcore autox. I'm also running hawk hps pads with $50 ceramic autozone rotors (life time warranty) with gsr rear discs. Stopping power is pretty good to me, way better than stock. You'll need good tires too, i'm running yoko es100's and man they handle/stop great.

Yeah stopping power is pretty nice. I just wanted some other calipers that looked better. I might just paint mines though.

Meh, just paint yours.

Get some brembo blacks, good pads, and good fluid. You'll be amazed how well your car stops. You won't stop much better for less than $1000.

Getting a 1" mc will help a lot too.
