tps problem
ok guys help me out. i have a 91 dx civic with a ls turbo. i have a p06 converted in to a p28 with hondata s300. the problem that i have is when we were doing a basemap the tps would read full throgger(i think that spell right) or 105%. i check the tps wires to see if it is pin right. i had this swap for 5 years and i didnt know that the tps was doing that until i got the hondata. please help what could it be. ps damn i love the s300
take out the tps threre at 2 bolt (torques) and there should be a a spring with 2 knotches on the tps alighn them with the to knotches on the TB
there are 3 wires going to it a 12v, 5v ref, and a ground
hook up a meter to the ground anad 5v ref with the key on engine off
it should read 0-.5v at idl and 4.5-5v at WOt
good luck hope this helped

This might be the problem. The DPfi set up on the DX uses a TPS that spins backwards so the wiring in the car is designed to work with that TPS. when you switch to Mpfi You need to switch the two outer wires at the TPS plug. Another thing is what TPS are you using? Does the hondata have a learn function? How does it know it is going to 105% If you have ever installed a VAFC, you have to program the TPS to tell it what voltage is idle and what voltage is WOT.

you have to calibrate your tps. loosen the two screws that hold the tps down, then move it around until you get the correct readings.
